Gardening

Over the years I have enjoyed many gardening experiences from growing and harvesting our own fruit and vegetables to the canning, and freezing of the many varieties of jams, pickles, jellies and frozen vegetables for future use.
It sometimes requires a quick education on proper pruning of the fruit trees or berry bushes and adjusting processing times when canning the fresh fruits and vegetables, but it is always worth the time and effort.
I love gardening, the childhood memories of playing in the dirt, sowing the new seeds, and tending to the new growth. The bees pollenating the blooms, knowing that soon I will be harvesting our own food.
